Shadow Puppetry Workshop

Shadow Puppetry Workshop

Our Shadow Puppet workshops can be used to enhance your existing teaching program or add to your Arts week, Healthy Eating week, Cultural weeks (African, Indian or Chinese), Book week or Anti-bullying week.

Our workshops are suitable for Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. They can also be adapted for pupils with sensory, learning, or physical disabilities who will be involved in a variety of enriching sensory experiences.

With its bold shapes, vivid colour and dramatic movement, Shadow Puppetry is a highly engaging art form exploration in early childhood educational settings. A typical day will start with an assembly, followed by up to 6 sessions throughout the day with an end of day performance by the children.

  • It was amazing! Full participation from the onset. Not really any ways to improve the workshops. Yes, definitely rebooking. We're booking a ‘Samba’ Drumming Workshop for the week
