Primary Workshops for Schools

Circus Skills Workshop

Roll up, roll up for a dazzling array of circus skills.  At Primary Workshops for Schools, we have devised a workshop that encourages participation, movement, coordination and balance skills in an energetic and exciting way.

Circus skills demand a certain level of attention and concentration. Our workshop engages the children whilst actively encouraging them to have fun.  This, in turn, sharpens their focus to participate and encourages them to persevere.  By using a variety of equipment such as diabolo, spinning plates, balance boards, juggling balls/clubs and devil sticks, this workshop motivates children to not only enhance their physical awareness but to develop their team-building skills and improve their self-esteem. We can cater for a single class or multiple classes so whatever your requirements, we can create a workshop to suit.

Circus Skills is incredibly popular all year round and not only links to Health Eating Week, PSHE and Anti-bullying Week but is also popular as a school fete event or a rewards day.

For more information on our Circus Skills Workshop, give us a call on 01536 265432 or email us on [email protected].

Workshop Performance

Workshop & Performance

Workshop Sessions:

Up to 8 sessions

During a typical day-long workshop, Primary Workshops for Schools will start the day off with an assembly during which we will both demonstrate and motivate the children for the day ahead. We can work with up to 30 children in a session and deliver 6 sessions, stretching to 8 if required. The workshop can then end with a performance from the children. This allows the children to demonstrate their new skills and develop in confidence.
