Our Yoga workshops will introduce the idea of mindfulness and bring the renowned benefits of the ancient practise of yoga to the classroom.
Yoga allows children to broaden their horizons as well as receiving the physical benefits with practise. Flexibility and strength both in the body and in the mind will help to introduce the ideas of resilience and perseverance to your children, which they can apply in wider contexts. Children begin to learn to monitor their own emotions and develop their confidence, flexibility, co-ordination and strength.
Primary Workshop for Schools Yoga workshops are perfect all year round but also partners perfectly with children’s well being and healthy living weeks. Yoga is also a perfect introduction back into the routines of daily life post-pandemic.
Up to 8 sessions
A typical session will involve mindfulness and guided meditation alongside a warm up and the children learning about yoga postures and techniques. We can deliver up to 8 sessions in a day.
