Most of our workshops can be run successfully using social distancing.
Help your school commemorate this landmark anniversary by holding our WW1 dance workshop. It’s now just over 100 years since the end of WW1 however we are ensuring those who lived, fought and served during the years 1914-18 are remembered.
Despite worldwide warfare, day to day life continued during the war, as did culture. This war and its consequences shaped much of the twentieth century, and the impact of it can still be felt today. Our WW1 dance workshop is themed around the more popular dance styles of the era and is a fun way of connecting the children with this historical period in history. Choose from Foxtrot, Brazilian, Tango, Turkey Trot, Waltz, Charleston or Ragtime.
Our WW1 dance workshop links perfectly with World War 1 commemoration.
Up to 8 sessions
Primary Workshops for Schools can deliver up to 8 sessions during a school day with 30 children accommodated in each of the sessions. This workshop will be themed around the popular dances of the era, and each of your classes could learn a dance to display during an end of day performance.
