It’s a fact, children love movies! Even more so if they’ve got a catchy song to sing along to and signature dance moves too. Classics such as the adorable Annie; the adventure-filled Wizard of Oz and the timeless Sound of Music continue to capture children’s imagination.
In recent years we’ve had the delightful Matilda and Disney’s phenomenally successful cartoon-musical Frozen which swept the box office. Kids everywhere were singing the anthem “Let It Go” until recently when The Greatest Showman hit our screens. “This Is Me” is now the new anthem that everyone, regardless of ability, feels confident enough to belt out with feeling!
Our ‘Sound of Musicals’ dance workshop links perfectly with Healthy Eating Weeks, Arts Weeks and Rewards Days.
Up to 8 sessions
Within a ‘Sound of Musicals’ workshop, Primary Workshops for Schools can deliver up to 8 dance sessions throughout the school day. There can even be an opportunity for the children to participate in a performance at the end of the day. That way they can showcase the moves they've learned during their session.
