prevCoronavirus Update
We are currently open and able to answer any questions you may have regarding our workshops.
Most of our workshops can be run successfully using social distancing.
At Primary Workshops for Schools, our martial arts workshop specifically aims to complement your school’s wellness aims. Encouraging mental and physical health is a key element for children to perform more effectively in school, socialise more successfully and as a consequence be generally happier as individuals.
Exercise is known to boost endorphins, the body’s feel-good chemicals which have a positive impact on our mood, memory, energy levels and sense of wellbeing. Our workshop is designed to encourage the core values of martial arts which include courage, tolerance and respect as well as develop perseverance, discipline, loyalty and serenity qualities that can benefit daily life and help develop even more meaningful relationship with others.
Our Martial Arts workshop links perfectly with Cultural week, Healthy Eating Week and Anti-bullying Week.

Workshop Sessions:
Up to 6 sessions
Each session starts with a warm-up after which we introduce a range of activities such as stances, punches, blocks and kicks. The session ends with a Shaolin stance form which incorporates all the basic stances along with basic strikes and kicks. This can then be performed by the children at the end of the workshop to highlight the skills that they’ve acquired during their session.
