Most of our workshops can be run successfully using social distancing.
Roll up, roll up for a dazzling array of circus skills. At Primary Workshops for Schools, we have devised a workshop that encourages participation, movement, coordination and balance skills in an energetic and exciting way.
Circus skills demand a certain level of attention and concentration. Our workshop engages the children whilst actively encouraging them to have fun. This, in turn, sharpens their focus to participate and encourages them to persevere. By using a variety of equipment such as diabolo, spinning plates, balance boards, juggling balls/clubs and devil sticks, this workshop motivates children to not only enhance their physical awareness but to develop their team-building skills and improve their self-esteem.
Circus Skills is incredibly popular all year round and not only links to Health Eating Week, PSHE and Anti-bullying Week but is also popular as a school fete event or a rewards day.
Up to 8 sessions
A typical workshop commences with an assembly after which we can deliver up to 8 sessions in a full day. We recommend an end of day performance to allow the children an opportunity to showcase the circus skills they’ve learnt throughout the day.
