prevCoronavirus Update
We are currently open and able to answer any questions you may have regarding our workshops.
Most of our workshops can be run successfully using social distancing.
At Primary Workshops for Schools, we are offering an Asian Textiles workshop which will enable your children to have an introduction to textile art on both a practical level and within a historical and multicultural context.
During this workshop, we will fully immerse the children in the experience by teaching them some of the different traditional techniques used in this ancient art form. The children can create individual pieces to take home or combine them into a wall hanging to display at your school.
Our Asian Textiles workshop pairs especially well with our Indian drumming, Indian storytelling and Indian dance workshops. Whilst available to enjoy all year round, it is an absolute must-do when celebrating Diwali in October/November and Holi between late February and late March and can be enjoyed during Cultural Week, Arts Week and International Day.
Workshop Sessions:
Up to 8 sessions
During a typical day-long workshop, we will work with the children in groups of 10-15 and can work with up to 100 children during a school day.
