Primary Workshops for Schools

African Textiles Workshop

At Primary Workshops for Schools, we are offering an African Textiles workshop which will enable your children to have an introduction to textile art on both a practical level and within a historical and multicultural context.

During this workshop, we will fully immerse the children in the experience by teaching them some of the different traditional techniques used in this ancient art form.  The children can create individual pieces to take home or combine them into a wall hanging to display at your school.

Our African Textiles workshop is delivered all year round and links perfectly with Black History Month, International Day, Cultural Week and Arts Week.
