The facilitator was absolutely fantastic, and all the classes really enjoyed their workshops. I can’t believe how great they all looked especially as they only had 30 mins each.

The facilitator was enthusiastic and energetic. He was able to adapt to the age of the child and a good time was had by all.

From the sounds of the praise from my colleagues, I do not believe that there was ANY way to make it better!! PWFS was FABULOUS! The facilitator is a BRILLIANT and talented individual who makes these workshops come to life for the children. They have an amazing time and their joy and enthusiasm for dancing and music is written all across their faces from the moment it begins, until the moment it ends!

I wanted to say a big thank you to you for the fantastic animal encounters workshop you delivered last Monday. The children had a fantastic day and we had some lovely feedback from parents about the workshop too! The deputy head was really impressed with the facilitator and said she was excellent with the young children and explained everything so clearly. The assembly was also wonderful. We will definitely be using Primary Workshops again!

The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The children loved dressing in the traditional clothing and the workshop was led with great enthusiasm and energy.

The workshops were very good and adaptable as we have children with a wide range of needs. This was a great way to approach the sessions, the children really enjoyed this at their levels. The children and staff really enjoyed the sessions and the instructors energy really helped the sessions come to life.

A fantastic introduction to Samba and the music of Rio; the children were hooked from the get go and enjoyed quickly making music together.

Just wanted to say what a fantastic workshop we had on Tuesday! The assembly was fantastic and the facilitator was a real inspiration for the children as he told us the stories of where he has been able to travel as a musician. The children loved hearing him play and the Year 5 children learnt so much in their workshop, they were also challenged which was great! Just wanted to get in touch to say what a wonderful Lion Dance workshop we had today. The assembly was great, so well pitched for all children in the school and they loved it! The workshops were all great as well and the facilitators were excellent at keeping to the tight timings we had – true pros! You were great to work with and the children got a lot out of today. The children really enjoyed the assembly and workshops. They were introduced to a variety of instruments and were engaged throughout. Children have created their own instruments and used activities learned in the workshop to develop their learning further.

Our children in Reception and Key Stage One took part in the fantastic Indian dance workshop with our facilitator, who looked the part in her traditional Indian costume. The music was catchy and the choreography was simple enough for even the youngest children to follow. After the dance workshops were complete, the whole school was invited to watch th performances together in the hall. The children performed with lots of energy and enthusiasm, impressing the entire audience with their concentration and focus. We have used PWFS in the past and will continue to do so in the future. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the day, they were looking forward to the event and all of the children participated, growing with confidence as the session progressed.

The dance session brings valuable real life experience to children helping them understand a topic such as Holi. It also provides a wonderful creative experience that reflects in children’s writing, art, well-being and trying something new.

Children always enjoy the workshops we book through primary workshops and are able to talk about the sessions long after they have finished.

The facilitator was extremely accommodating and very patient with our children. He was easy to talk to and had a very calm manner about him. Our children have issues with trust, but most asked questions, chatted and stayed in the whole session. The facilitator was very knowledgeable and was able to share amazing facts with us. A successful day had by all.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and the children had a wonderful time. The facilitator was wonderful with the little ones and she was very organised and helped the day to run smoothly. The resources were also brilliant, we are going to try and purchase some for the school! It was well resourced and the children benefitted from the extra resources that we couldn’t have provided. Our children highly enjoyed the experience and they were able to gain so much for the experience. Adults and children had a big smile at the end of the day!

This was a really great couple of days. The facilitator was wonderful with the children and they really developed their musical ability as well as learning about recycling and sustainability. I would highly recommend.

The engagement of the children was high and the facilitator’s knowledge was strong. The children loved the quality resources used for the dance.

The workshop were organised very quickly and staff in the office are very accommodating. There were many dances to choose from and everything ran smoothly. The children really enjoyed the dancing.

I just wanted to feedback from our Samba workshop yesterday – we had a fantastic day! A huge thank you to the facilitator for inspiriting our children and supporting them in being able to perform to the rest of the school at the end of the day. We actually had 2 pupils in that year group who are extremely anxious about performing (didn’t take part in the Christmas Carol Service) yet they felt confident enough to join in with the performance to all of the school at the end of the day, a huge achievement. The children really enjoyed it and learnt so much from their day with the facilitator. One of the parents said this morning that their child and their friend were talking in the back of the car about Samba all the way home! So lovely. The facilitator was fantastic with the children and also shared our values as a school in having high expectations of the children in terms of what they can achieve and behaviour. He was very professional, arrived well on time and was very supportive of the pupils. He also delivered a great assembly to the whole school in the morning. It really is great to be able to have workshops again following covid and we’d highly recommend Primary Workshops for Schools.

All the boys and staff has a wonderful day. The facilitator was very well received by the boys, with his boundless energy and enthusiasm during the day. Thank you so much again for a wonderful workshop.

Bright and colourful, the perfect way to show children how cultures from around the world celebrate their special times. The children were in awe of the dragon and how he majestically moved around the room.

Feedback from our workshop was overwhelmingly positive. The staff had nothing but wonderful things to say about it!

We were extremely lucky to have the expertise of the facilitator whose knowledge and experience of the Indian drum was vast. From start to finish, the facilitator had all of the children engaged and participating which included learning to play the dhol drum and clapping along to the rhythm. His energy kept the children wanting more and they thoroughly enjoyed the day. I would definitely recommend the facilitator and the Indian drumming.

The facilitator was absolutely amazing and such an amazing person for the children to meet. I was in awe of his list of achievements, and he was an amazing teacher for the children – very patient with a wonderful presence which had the children captivated and engaged at all times. Thank you for your help with making the day memorable.

All four class teachers agree that this workshop was perfect for our topic and appropriate for the age and skills of our children. No improvement needed. The African Drumming workshop was perfect for our children. The facilitator was excellent and really knew how to work with EYFS children. Children and teachers alike all had a great time and learnt so much.

We absolutely loved the drumming workshop and the facilitator was great. He also gave us some very positive feedback about how our children had performed across the day. Thank you for all your help and we would love to book again for the same time next year.

The facilitator’s rapport with the children and the staff was brilliant, his timekeeping was efficient and his assembly was dynamic. I’d also say that the workshops were pitched well to the age group. We loved meeting the facilitator for a lively introduction to Indian percussion and dhol drumming. Our young musicians performed a rhythm pattern as an ensemble on authentic drums. The facilitator’s smile was on show all day and his enthusiasm and passion for his craft was clear to see.

The girls were mesmerised by the movements with the fans and parasols and loved learning new dance moves.

The facilitator was very engaging with the pupils, kept the interest throughout and could see during afternoon sessions that when some pupils became restless he would do something to keep them engaged.

The workshop was fantastic! It could not have been improved for our students or our staff. Everyone at PWFS has been extremely helpful, flexible and prompt in helping us to book the workshop. The facilitator was a pleasure to have in school. Her energy and manner was infectious and she brought a lot of joy to the students and staff. The workshop was engaging, accessible and inclusive for all our learners. Several members of staff and students commented on how fantastic the facilitator and the workshop had been.

After COVID, it was wonderful to welcome a visitor into the school again to enrich the children’s learning and to enable them to experience something different. The children loved it and had big smiles on their faces! It was wonderful to see the children to learn part of the Chinese celebrations.

The school have enjoyed our time with you immensely and children have gained so mcuh for your enthusiasm. We will definitely have the Chinese Dance again if we can! Thumbs up from everyone!

The facilitator was brilliant with our children. They all engaged and loved his session. It was absolutely beneficial and well adapted to the group’s needs. We are grateful we had the opportunity to have you at our school.

The children always love this workshop every year and even the staff look forward to it. The lion dance is so much fun and the children find it an unforgettable experience! It is amazing to see Chinese culture come to life, especially for the children.

Last weeks workshop was fantastic! The children had the best time. We want to say a massive thank you, the children were so inspired. In particular the boys, we could tell how much it meant to them to have a male role model, one of the children said to the facilitator ‘you are the best person in the world, can we have you everyday’. The energy he brought was great. We loved how the day was a perfect mix between education, the activities and having fun, the children learnt so much. They are really excited now for their Geography topic on Africa and have been super engaged which is so good to see. We also loved the opportunity to showcase at the end of the day, it was great for parent engagement and for the rest of the children in school to watch, a proud moment for our Year 5s. We loved how every single child could access all the activities and give it a good go. The facilitator would select some children who were performing well or trying hard which also gave the children motivation to listen and try harder and have their successes celebrated. Please pass on our thanks again – it was our favourite day so far this school year.

Our Nursery and Reception children loved the Chinese Dragon Dance workshop. They were engaged throughout the sessions, the props were all beautiful and the opportunity to perform for parents at the end was fantastic.

The workshop was fabulous! The children were very engaged and loved the whole session. The facilitator was fabulous from beginning to end. He had the children enthralled in the session, even the most challenging pupils were engaged.

A great opportunity for the children to experience a different culture and to work together to create an entertaining spectacle.

The feedback I got from all the teachers was that the sessions were fantastic – very interactive and the children thoroughly enjoyed using all of the props – especially the dragon. The workshop was fantastic and our children thoroughly enjoyed learning the dances. They especially liked working together to make the dragon dance!

Primary Workshops for Schools delivered an all-day African drumming and dance workshop to our class year 2 pupils. The morning focused on learning about the history of the drums and dance and the children practicing skills before applying it into a performance that they delivered to parents at the end of the day. The children had an incredible day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Several members of staff who were not part of the day all commented on how amazing it looked and sounded – I have never had such positive reviews/comments like it. The facilitator was brilliant with the children – so energetic and friendly – it was impossible not to love the day.

The Chinese Dragon Dance workshop was amazing and the children thoroughly enjoyed it. Their favourite part was dancing with the fans, umbrellas and dragon. The facilitator was very well organised, well-resourced and fantastic with the children. The facilitator also adapted to the different year groups really well and tried some new things which the children loved. We would love to do it again next year and would recommend to anyone!

The workshop was amazing. The facilitator was a natural entertainer. Children were fully engaged throughout the session and loved seeing the build up to perform at the end of the session.

It was great. I could not fault it. The facilitator was lovely with the children. The workshop was well organised and the timings were perfect as the children all got to complete the same tasks. The facilitator was amazing with the kids. There was a wide range of ages with many having additional needs. The facilitator had them eating out of his hands. The adults loved watching the kids taking part and enjoying themselves!

The facilitator was not only an expert in his field but an approachable, well-informed and engaging individual. The children and staff loved him and were actually sad that he had to leave us at the end of the day. He is truly excellent at what he does and a genuine credit to your company!

Our facilitator was an exceptional drummer, who engaged all of our children on a mixed age range. They all loved the experience! Thank you everyone involved!

This workshop was exactly what we wanted. We appreciated that the workshop was tweaked to suit our requirements. The dancer was extremely punctual, well prepared and energetic from the start of the day until the last. He had every single child engaged throughout the session and achieved great results in just 30 minutes per class. Please pass on our thanks for such a brilliant experience.

The workshop was fantastic; the children were highly engaged and thoroughly enjoyed the practical side to it. Each child was given their own individual resources for the experiment which meant they could all participate when working scientifically. They were even able to take their scientific creations home to show their families!

Booking the workshop was made even better by their willingness to adapt the organisation of the day to our school needs and timetable. The children thoroughly enjoyed the hands on nature of the workshop and the facilitator pitched the activities perfectly to the children’s level of physical ability, while giving them a great challenge too.

We thought the workshop was great, it ran on time and was pitched correctly for the age range of the children. The music was fun and the dance moves were easy to follow. The children really enjoyed it and it was great to showcase the dances at the end. The facilitator was great and she kept the groups engaged and taught the moves in a lovely way. Brilliant!

Our children really enjoyed the workshop and developed their confidence and skills. They were all eager to join in and each activity was well demonstrated and links to the curriculum made. The tutor was very supportive in meeting the needs of our SEN pupils.

It was first rate! Even the most reluctant children eventually joined in to some degree or another. The facilitator was enthusiastic and totally professional; she engaged with the children and gave them a real performance experience!

The facilitator encouraged children to draw on their prior knowledge and asked a good range of questions. All children were given the opportunity to try out an instrument and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The children had a great time playing the instruments and creating music as a class.

It was a well-organised and informative workshop. They were all well engaged and enjoyed playing the instruments and came out of the workshop wanting to develop their musical skills.

Our facilitator really knew her stuff and we were impressed by how she interacted with the children – she allowed them lots of time to ask all their questions and was great with the shyer/nervous children. They all came away excited!

We simply couldn’t speak highly enough of the engaging and professional cheerleading workshop that was delivered to our Year 2 children today. The children had the opportunity to practice and enhance their dance skills in a safe, friendly environment and the smiles on their faces were a reflection of how much fun they were having. The workshop culminated in performing four cheerleading routines for a captivated and inspired audience of Reception and Year 1 children, which everybody thoroughly enjoyed. The quality of the final performances were a testament to the standard of instruction provided by our workshop facilitator, who instantly captured the imaginations of the children and sustained this energy and enthusiasm throughout the workshop with her friendly, approachable and energetic manner and her exciting, creative cheerleading routines supported by popular music choices. Thank you to both our facilitator and Primary Workshops for Schools for providing such a valuable and memorable experience that will live long in the memories of the children that took part.

An excellent workshop with lots of opportunities for the children to develop skills involving hand/eye coordination and have lots of fun doing so. The introduction was fun and exciting and varied well according to the age of the children. All the children and staff expressed their enjoyment of the sessions and most had learned to do something new and different.

Both children and staff enjoyed the sessions immensely. They were engaging, fun and the children were able to have their own individual instrument to play.

A really lovely workshop that engaged and motivated all of the children. An experience that enabled the children to use real props and experience a little piece of culture.

This was an amazing experience for our children and extremely powerful. The success that all children could experience in making music as a group was fantastic to see and I’m sure they will all remember their Samba day for years to come!

It was fantastic! The facilitator was very experienced and knew how to deliver an engaging and educational workshop for special needs children. The children enjoyed it immensely. Staff also enjoyed it and helped them to feel confident to deliver more lessons!

We were very pleased by the ability of the facilitator – the children really responded well and thoroughly enjoyed the dance workshop. Our Big Band/Swing workshop enabled us to immense our children into the times in 1940. Professional and very enthusiastic facilitator was able to teach a large group of 30 children from start to finish, an entire dance routine with complex swing dance moves. Every child was supported and encouraged to participate. A great workshop – highly recommended.

All children were really engaged and enjoyed themselves, including one child with additional needs. The facilitator was very kind to him and gave him his own drum to use. Before long, he was joining in with the rest of the class! The children also really enjoyed hearing about his tales from Ghana. Three children in the class are African and were keen to share their stories also.

The facilitator was so knowledgeable and fab with the children! Our kids were so engaged and enthused – what a way to learn about African drumming!

Our Mosaic workshop was an awesome experience for our school community (EYFS, KS1 & KS2), The children learnt a lot about how to use the tools and resources to create mosaics with care as well as how to arrange the tiles in the best way to create their artistic piece. The artists’ were engaging, patient and supportive to all of the children and were able to lead the workshop with great skill, clarity and organisation. The end product was AMAZING – we could not believe that this was accomplished over only two days! Our whole school mosaic is now placed in a central place where it can be admired and appreciated by all. Thank you!

A truly magnificent workshop from start to finish. The children were engaged from the moment they walked through the door and they didn’t want to leave. The facilitator was enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable allowing the children plenty of time to have their turns on the drums. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

We were very happy with our workshop. The facilitator was very punctual, calm and professional throughout the day. All the other class teachers were very complimentary. I can’t think of any major improvements to the workshop at this time. This was a very cost effective way to introduce our pupil to Yoga. The instructor had very good subject knowledge and demonstrated a wide range of yoga techniques to our entire school cohort from Nursery-age pupils to Year 6. Highly recommended.

Our children really loved learning about the different drums and drumming techniques from around the world. Our instructor was incredibly talented and the children (and staff) were in awe at his knowledge and skills! Thank you for providing another wonderful experience for our pupils.

Our Samba workshop was led by a brilliant facilitator who had an energetic and involving style. All the children were very motivated and enjoyed playing new instruments and performing to the parents. It really was excellent and perfectly judged for our children. Thank you.

I absolutely loved the session – the session was brilliant and I loved all the things we learnt and the beautiful music we made. The facilitator was really engaging, good fun and we loved the session.

I think the workshop was ideal for our children and they all got so much out of it. I don’t think any improvements need to be made! The workshop was a really worthwhile session. The children were all engaged and had thoroughly enjoyed it. They are still talking about it now and the experience they had. Such a worthwhile workshop even at such a young age.

We had a great day drumming yesterday. I have had so much positive feedback from adults and pupils. They enjoyed it immensely and it was a great start to our music topic this term.

We started the day with the younger children to the older children. It was amazing the way the facilitator skilfully extended each session to match the children’s ability and skill. We just wanted to drop you an email to let you know the staff and children had a fantastic Indian Drumming day yesterday. The facilitator’s enthusiasm and skill shone throughout the day. He was able to adjust his teaching to meet the needs of our EYFS children as well as extending our experienced year 6 drummers. We would highly a recommend a day with you – fantastic!

Just to let you know that the workshops today were fantastic. The facilitator had 3x hour-long sessions with a wide range of ages and families, and he managed them all brilliantly. The parents loved it too! We had lovely feedback from parents too. The facilitator was very enthusiastic and easy to work with too.

I just wanted to pass on my thanks to yourself for today’s session. The children thoroughly enjoyed it. He had a great manner with the children and the children came out of the hall saying how much they enjoyed it. We will certainly be recommending this session and rebooking in the future.

We loved our African Drumming workshop. The children thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the session and we even continued practising the rhythms back in class. One child said she went home and tested out different objects in her home using the rhythms from the workshop!

I just wanted to email and say what a wonderful time all the children had in the African drumming workshop today. The facilitator delivered an extremely memorable experience for all our Key Stage One children today. The energy and humour he brought to every workshop was fantastic and engaged every single child. The facilitator was so patient when some of our little friends from Reception wanted to join the fun. The children smiled from ear to ear throughout the whole workshop as they saw their learning from this term be brought to life. I heard a few children talking as they left the workshop saying “that was the best!” and ” I want to do it again!”. You have given the children in our school an amazing experience which they will never forget and as teachers we cannot thank you enough.

I just wanted to say from myself, school and our wonderful children a big thank you for yesterday and all of your hard work in the build up to yesterday. The children and teachers loved it. The facilitator arrived nice and early and the children loved him! It was just wonderful!

Oh my goodness! What a day we had yesterday, with your wonderful performers! They were just amazing, but I am gutted that I didn’t get a chance to thank them in person before they left! The children (and adults!) absolutely loved the workshops and were buzzing about their new dancing and drumming skills. Thank you so much for helping to organise them and please pass on my thanks to the individuals on my behalf! We couldn’t have done it without all your help! Thank you, on behalf of our 425 very tired, but excited children and also 80 exhausted staff! One quote from a child “this is the best day of my life!” You can’t get better than that, can you?

An engaging, educational and fun experience for children of all ages. It got us all energised for the morning and the children were all able to participate.

Fantastically delivered from a talent dancer who interacted well with the children. He kept them engaged and answered all questions carefully and thoughtfully.

The children at our school thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and performance today. They picked up the drumming very quickly due to the clear and simple instructions given by the facilitator. The session was engaging, fun and memorable!

The workshop was all absolutely FABULOUS!! We have no improvements to make. We would recommend to others without reservation. The day was fabulous from start to finish! The tasks were pitch perfect so every child learned new skills whilst having the most amazing fun. The mosaic that they produced really is something else! It’s stunning! The African Drumming workshop was amazing and made our International Day really exciting. The facilitator worked so hard and all children were engaged with the workshop. I want to thank you firstly for arranging today’s workshop so last minute. They students really enjoyed it and the staff were so impressed with the facilitator. It was really was a great day. Thank you again, everyone at Primary Workshops was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish!

We were so thrilled with the workshop. It was excellent; very well organised and a fantastic balance of dance and drumming and the children were all extremely engaged. Wonderful too, that they were learning real African moves and rhythms! I was also so impressed with how you were able to help us very last minute, as another company had let us down, with securing a workshop and getting something organised for us last thing on a Friday!

The African Drumming workshop is essential to learn musical through cultures and loads of energetic African rhythms were played and the children thoroughly enjoyed it.

The African Drumming workshop was absolutely superb! Please pass on our thanks for the facilitator for being so engaging, knowledgeable and helpful with the children – they loved their African Drumming experience. I honestly don’t feel it could have been improved – the children and staff loved the workshop. Primary Workshops were polite and professional at all times and made the booking process a doddle! The workshop facilitator was highly engaging, knowledgeable and extremely well organised – the children adored all of the songs, chants and pupil/teacher participation (they still sing the schools in school in their free time!). The workshop was fun and engaging. Children from Nursery to Year 5 had a great time learning a Bollywood dance routine. The facilitator was amazing and her enthusiasm shone in all workshops.

Children were thoroughly engaged and enjoyed getting to have a go at something they had not tried before. The facilitator was very interactive and made it so much fun for the children – and the adults! We will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend!

The preparation and delivery of the workshop was great. The facilitator was really good and the children responded well to him. The workshop was informative and the children all learned a lot that day/ They enjoyed the drumming and dancing and enjoyed sharing this wit the rest of the school.

This was one of the MOST engaging and fun workshops I have ever been a part of. The children were engaged from the start! The staff were loving it! This exciting workshop promises to engage, excite and inspire children to explore Science in a hands on way. Using resources which gets all children involved, the workshop challenges their initial thoughts and inspires them to think outside the box. Resources are well presented and unusual to the children, providing awe and wonder. A great workshop to inspire all.

We loved the workshop and I can’t think of a way to improve it. The facilitator was full of energy and engaged all the children from the very start. He combined lots of other aspects; explaining why drums were important for communication and what they were made of. Every child was involved and really enjoyed the active drumming session.

The session was interactive and enjoyable, the introduction and description of how and when this type of music would be played was a really great addition, it gave the children meaning and understanding of what they were doing. The facilitator was interested in what the children knew and the children enjoyed showing off the knowledge they have learnt in their topic. I was pleased that all children were able to have a go at playing an instrument and that they learned a variety of conductor signals to follow and a tune to play and perform. An enjoyable and informative experience for all.

The drumming session was loved by all of our pupils. They were able to take part or feel that they were part of the sessions. It was good to see them discover what they could do with the drums and the interplay with others.

The facilitator was extremely well prepared. She was organised, efficient and very calm when setting up with the use of the school’s IT. The facilitator worked with each class as if it were her first and put the children at ease using lovely warm up games. Even children who are normally a little shy were quick to be involved. The dance sessions were really well structured, building up slowly and in such a way that the facilitator was able to establish the level and ability of each class, quickly picking out those who needed support. The girls loved dressing up in their costumes and bells. There was a great sense of achievement when the girls produced their final dace. Fabulous!

All the children enjoyed the workshop regardless of age or ability and the facilitator quickly spotted the children that needed additional support. He was brilliant at including them. There were enough drums for all the children to take part and this was key as EYFS needed the hands on experience to remain focused.

It was a really fantastic day. The workshop was a fantastic opportunity for the children to explore tempo and rhythm and to practise some call and response. The session was fast-paced and enabled the children to have a lot of time playing the djembe drums. The facilitator was a wonderful leader for our children and we would love to invite you back in the future.

The Circus Skills workshop was fun and engaging. The children really enjoyed the sessions and the activities challenged them to be resilient and keep on trying.

The workshops were absolutely amazing. I have never in my 25yrs of teaching had a whole school event that has been enjoyed by all staff from Reception to Year 6. The facilitator was wonderful with all the children and staff and every child was fully engaged and participating throughout the whole of the session. WE all smiled and had fun from beginning to end.

I would just like to say how much we have enjoyed having you with us for the last 2 days. It has been wonderful. Every member of staff that has been part of the workshops have said how wonderful the facilitator was with the children and how engaged the children were. Even our more reluctant learners were having the best time during the workshops. You were just fabulous with the children and the staff so amenable to changes out of our control! I have never had a workshop for the whole school where every class from Early Years to Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed the experience and didn’t want it to end. My class were so cross when they found out you were in again today but they couldn’t go! Please pass on our thanks and gratitude to everyone involved. We will definitely be booking again.

The facilitator is an excellent teacher and provided the children with a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and produce some excellent work. Their confidence grew hugely and they all had a great time.

I wanted to say thank you for such an amazing experience. The children were energised, engaged and so happy! They loved having the dances modelled, the stories explained and copying the moves during the workshop. The boys, who I thought might have been a little reluctant to participate, really threw themselves into it. I think this was partly down to the leader being male and so positive and motivating – he really was fab! The show at the end of the day just made us smile. You could see the sense of achievement on the faces of all those performing, and despite a few reservations about performing in front of the school, they did it! And they did it brilliantly! I really enjoyed it yesterday when you came to do African Drumming with our class. When I walked into the hall I was mind-blown by the drums!. I had never seen anything like it before. On the drums, there were so many different patterns which made them unique. My favourite was the flame. I also really like the bass because it sounded like a gong. Then as we learnt the rhythms we got faster and faster and it got more and more fun.
