African Dance Workshop

African Dance Workshop

Our African Dance Workshop is devised to give children of all ages and abilities the opportunity to experience this wonderful, vibrant and diverse culture whilst learning some of the traditional dance moves.

Africa is made up of many different countries and thousands of tribes who all have individual dance moves that they use to communicate with.

Our highly energetic African Dance School Workshop will leave your children not only with a lasting impression and a spring in their step but also with a broad understanding of cultural diversity.

A typical Dance Workshop would consist of six sessions throughout the day, which culminate in an engaging performance at the end allowing children to demonstrate the exciting new skills they have learnt.

Black History Month
Originated in America in 1926 by Carter Godwin Woodson (the son of former slaves), Black History Month aims to honour the achievements of black men and women throughout history. Many schools choose to celebrate this event by creating a series of creative activities that embrace the richness and diversity of different cultures and so why not celebrate this with one of our African Drumming or African Dance Workshops
