The Drumming Workshops provided by Primary Workshops for Schools are a holistic
experience that will enable all of your children to be involved regardless of age or
abilities. They are suited to both Primary and Special Educational Needs Schools.
They are organised so that each session will learn, through the use of call & response, how the drum works. The children will learn how the drum was used traditionally, and will see how it relates to the modern rhythms heard today. Drumming has been used for centuries in most cultures.
Drumming can be used to enhance the topics that are being covered in school. They are inspirational and rewarding for all involved.
